I know it's not quite week five yet, but I need to make sure that I stay ahead of everything coming my way this week. I spent this week playing a little catch up with homework, housework, and just trying to stay afloat with my workouts. I did alright, but I'd rather not have to push myself to get everything done. So I'm starting early, and hoping it will help me have a more productive and less stressful week :-)
No weight changes to report, because it's not Monday yet. I'll check in with a short post if there's anything worth reporting. We'll see. I am starting to notice changes in some small things, though. For example, the belt thing in the last post. I have a pair of pajamas that was a little too snug when I got them for Christmas, but feel good now. And I usually wear my Timex buckled on the sixth notch, but last night when I went to workout it buckled on the fifth notch automatically by itself, without me trying to manipulate it there. So, there have been some small changes, and I feel good about those things.
Here's the projected plan for next week:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 14 min run/weights
Wednesday: 24 min swim
Thursday: Off
Friday: 14 min swim/29 min bike/weights
Saturday: 24 min run/weights
Sunday: 48 min bike/weights
Nutrition-wise, I'm doing a lot of things really well. There have been some revelations since I've started using the diet tracker - it accounts for EVERYTHING! And it's helpful because all I have to do is input what I eat, and it shows me the nutrition content and updates my daily percentages automatically. So by dinner time, I know if I need to eat more protein and less carbs, or whatever, and I can fill my plate accordingly. Making the weekly menu helps too, because I can plan my other meals to compensate for whatever I'm having for dinner if I need to, instead of having to worry about getting an extra workout or fewer calories the next day.
Today I discovered that powdered coffee creamer has WAY less calories than the liquid version. This is great news! I generally like the liquid better just because of the variety of flavors, but I guess for now I need to switch to the powder. It's still pretty good, but just comes in fewer flavor options. Oh well. If it will help me shed some pounds, then I can deal with it :-)
