Hooray For Organization!

I spent my lunch break today going through the syllabi for both of my classes and writing down every single due date, test date, quiz date, and discussion date in my day planner so that I can be totally prepared. There were even a few assignments that I moved the due dates up on just so I can give myself a chance to get everything done and not have to scramble at the last minute to finish it all. My calendar looks awesome! And, I think that completely organizing my schoolwork now will really help me with my triathlon training when I begin in a couple of weeks :-)

My 15K race is this Sunday. I'm anxious, but okay about it. I know that it's something I can do, but I'm a little nervous all the same. I'm still looking forward to it though, and I'm excited to pick up my race packet on Friday with Lindsey. The race-day weather forecast is looking pretty good. High of 45, so I'll have to layer my top a little bit, and sunny with only a 10% chance of rain. Not too bad!

My focus this week is on getting good nutrition and some good shorter runs so that I don't die on Sunday. I need to make sure that my body is fueled up and conditioned so that I can finish strong. I know that there will be some adrenaline going on too, and that will help keep me from lagging at the end.

Overall, it's been a great week! I'm going to have to start giving myself a bedtime, though. I can tell that I'm definitely not getting enough sleep because I feel kind of like a zombie. Don't worry... I won't try to eat anybody :-)
