Contest Update: L lost 2.71% last week. She totally beat me by a mile! But I might get her this week :-)
Today was the first day for detox and metabolism jump-start. The food turned out to be pretty good and easy to make. By following the meal plan precisely, I actually only consumed 1000 calories, but I feel like I ate big meals. I did feel a little hungry throughout the day, but it wasn't anything unmanageable and I suspect that I'll feel better after my body adjusts. I also discovered that plain yogurt is really tart! I'll have to look for some kosher ways to sweeten that up :-)
The recipes that are suggested for the rest of the days of the program (25 more after detox) sound really tasty! I can't wait to try them out!
I have to say, this looks like it could work. Halfway through the day, I was already down half a pound from this morning. Really, it should have been the opposite because I had already eaten two full meals. I'll let you know how it goes on Friday!
