Summer Boot Camp, Day 1

This summer, beginning today, I am beginning boot camp. I have made a detailed list of daily workouts, as well as a rewards list to give myself something to look forward to whenever I achieve a goal. Goals are set in 10 pound increments, starting at 10 pounds lost and going all the way up to 100 pounds lost. I've come across some new sources for healthy dishes that I can cook, and some new information sources that I can tap for motivation and inspiration. I will also be posting my workout schedule, and updates here daily, as well as to my diet tracker.

The reason I'm restarting on a Friday is because I always seem to blow it on the weekends. By starting on a weekend, I'll be less tempted to cheat over the weekend because I will be blowing the beginning of my week. And if I'm in a situation where I'm celebrating something with a meal out, I can plan in advance for it AND give myself the rest of my week to recover from it (if needed) before stepping on the scale. So, here we go!

Today I had two whole wheat pancakes for breakfast, one with blueberries in it and the other with banana. I used a little bit of agave nectar for syrup. I had a small cup of coffee (this is a huge step for me!). For lunch, I had an egg on a sandwich with a little cheese, some tomato slices, and about a teaspoon of mayo. Greek yogurt on the side. For dinner tonight, it will just be me and the munchkin, so I'm planning to eat lightly. Dinner is projected to be a chicken salad with minimal mayo and raisins in it. No sandwich, since I don't really need anymore grains today. I'll also have a spinach salad with strawberries and almonds on top.

Workout Day 1:
P90 DVD - 45 min
Yoga - 25 min
Bike - 35 min
Weight Circuit - 30 min

I'll probably be hurting tomorrow, but in the end it will all be worth it!
