Day 3

Ran out of blueberries for my oatmeal today. So I put raisins in instead. They were 144 calories!! Ouch. I think I'll be sticking with blueberries from now on!

Gonna be a busy day today. But C is home today, so I should be able to get in some gym time :-)

More to come!

Edit:

Lunch was amazing! A turkey sandwich with swiss cheese, mayo, avocado, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts on pumpernickel bread and a spinach salad with strawberries, almonds, and raspberry organic dressing was only 445 calories!!! (I thought it was only 360, and then I realized I'd forgotten to count the cheese.) And it was sooooo tasty! That sandwich mimics one of my favorite sandwiches from one of my favorite restaurants. I plan to eat this meal every day for lunch until I run out of ingredients!

Dinner tonight was a BBQ pork sandwich (only 350, as opposed to more than 400 for just one rib!) and some sautéed cabbage and bean sprouts with garlic, green onion, red pepper, and lemon juice. I cooked it in a tablespoon of vegetable oil, because I didn't have canola or olive oil, but it surprisingly didn't really add too many calories to my meal.

Got my P90 workout in already today. About to do yoga, and then head to the gym for cycling and weights. My knee is really killing me from yesterday, but I worked through it anyway and listened again to Jillian Michaels talk about fear. I won't need the lecture to get through yoga, because I actually enjoy yoga, but I have her next podcast ready to go for my gym time tonight. I'm looking forward to hearing what she has to say!

Even though I got off to a rocky start this week, I'm really excited to weigh in on Friday morning. I did really great today! If I can do great tomorrow too, then I might stand a chance to lose a little something, even though I didn't really get truly on board until yesterday. I know I can do it, especially since I have such yummy and filling meal options to look forward to tomorrow! I'm looking forward to oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast and another sandwich with spinach salad for lunch :-)
