Today was a much better day in terms of nutrition and training. I stuck to the plan pretty well and I feel good about what I ate today. I tested out a gym today and ran two miles on the treadmill. The two miles today was ROUGH. I don't know if it's because I'm recovering from the four miles that I ran on Monday or if it's because all the crap that I ate over the holidays is catching up with me. So naturally, my pace was down but I kind of expected that. It still hovered around the normal range so I'm happy about that. I'm all kinds of sore, but I have to get over that because I'm supposed to do it again tomorrow and then I have a five mile run on Friday.
I'm excited about gym-shopping. I have a trial pass to 24-Hour Fitness and a trial pass to Anytime Fitness and I'm pretty pumped about using them. Tonight, I worked out at 24-Hour and I loved it! Tomorrow, I might try Anytime. I'll keep you posted on that!
Oh, and I'll tell you how my run went, too :-)
